The Nova model shown in the photos is our most popular rigid screen door. It is particularly suitable for Pets with a certain amount of supervision / training until your pet recognises it a barrier.
You can enjoy the fresh air coming into your home and rest assured your pet is as safe as you make it when the screen is in place. Please note, we cannot give any guarantee to pet safety / security as so much depends on the nature or strength of your pet. We do our best to advise.
Different styles to the standard Nova door may be manufactured to order, these include additional midbars, a pushplate at the centre of the door plus an internal slide bolt or additional strong magnetic catches if required. A sub-frame is sometimes necessary where the existing door handles protrude beyond the flat face of surrounding frame. Customer's door in photo 2 shows her choice of heavy-duty mesh and no kick plate which worked very well. Photos 3&4 show brown finish door with black mesh, please note that all models from 2016 may have black corners until present stocks are exhausted as brown pvc items have been discontinued.
Hinged screen door, with or without sub-frame, face fitted., Hinged
Standard models can be made-to-measure in sizes up to 1100mm wide x 2100mm high.
A special order model can also be made up to 1270mm wide and up to 2400mm high
The standard model diagram below shows standard 18 x 16 fibreglass mesh but Pet Screens usually require a stronger mesh as shown in the photos above. Various types are available but the most popular is our special ' claw proof' black polyester pet mesh suitable for most pets but only you know your pet and how heavy or boisterous they might be.
