Omega

The Omega system is principally used as a top or side hinged, rigid frame window flyscreen. Photo 2 below shows a special build side hinged / semi-fixed Omega screen with separate small top-hinged access panel. This was necessary due to the lack of top hinging space on existing frame. Photos 1 & 3 show the standard installation.

The Omega extruded aluminium profile is designed to give 35mm clearance from the frame to which the flyscreen is fixed, to the mesh surface. The major application of this model is to accommodate protruding window handles and catches typical of those found on UPVC double glazed units.

A magnetic catch or turn buttons are used to secure.

The maximum recommended size of screen is 1200 x 1000mm, ideally this should be a top hinged application.

Material:

Frames are powder coated, extruded aluminium, with standard 18 x 16 grade fibreglass charcoal mesh. An extra tough polyester mesh can be also fitted to this model if required.

Colours Available:

Standard White , Brown by special order at a very small extra cost.
