The latest model mesh strip fly curtain consists of suspended , weighted and sliding mesh strips in a 2 part uPVC holder with click-on fixing plates for positioning above the doorway. It allows easy passage for pedestrians and fresh air but not for insects!
The holder requires 40mm of top frame space and a minimum of 30mm overlap each side onto the door frame. This DIY kit provides an economical and easy solution for some applications where fitting hinged fly screen doors may prove awkward e.g. through lack of hinging space. It is extremely simple to assemble and install. The screen is also easily removed for cleaning or storage when not required.
