Example of bespoke design created for client with sliding sash windows which presented challenges, e.g protruding locking mechanism and existing blinds in a limited depth of sill preventing the use of other models.
The model K1 with a flange was used for top and sides and reversed and the model T10 profile was used for the bottom rail plus nylon pile to create a good seal. Made to a precise inner width size, the panels simply slot in and lift out. The weight of the sliding window frame holds the screens in place.
Screen Type:
, Lift-Out
Sizes:
Sizes recommended equivalent to one metre square, dimensions over 1000mm possible with addition of mid rail horizontal or vertical acording to design requirements.
Diagram shows standard T10 profile, K1 has a 10mm flange... but you get the idea.
Aluminium powder coated frames with charcoal fibreglass mesh was used but alternative mesh , sunscreen, pet mesh or e.g. our new pollen stopping mesh could also have been used.
Colours Available:
Standard colours white or dark brown for the profiles used but if a number of around 10 or 12 windows are required it would be feasible to powder coat to customers choice.
