This model is designed to give 35mm clearance from the frame, to which the flyscreen is fixed, to the mesh surface. One of the major applications is to accommodate protruding window handles and catches typical of those used on UPVC double glazed units. Turnbuttons are used to secure.

The maximum recommended size of this type of screen is 1200 x 1200mm , ideally this should be top hinged, although we have made larger with additional vertical or horizontal mid-bar dividers for extra rigidity.
This model is also sometimes used as a sub-frame where extra clearance of obstructions required.

Profiles are made from powder coated extruded aluminium and frames are fitted with standard 18 x 16 grade fibreglass mesh in charcoal finish.
Heavy-duty polyester mesh or our new pollen stopping mesh is also available in this model ir required.
