Windows
If you have existing sun blinds, the best models for fitting behind blinds would be slim simple
frames, either lift-out, or fixed with turn buttons or magnetic tape, see model T10.
Also consider roller screens, face fixed, see model Unika; an excellent solution.
Roof lights / vents
See our special kit on model T10 page, or ask us to make one to your required
size. Existing roof blinds can usually be adjusted to stop short of the flyscreen panel and, if
required, your screens can be made with solar screen mesh.
Any problem with winding / opening mechanisms on roof lights / vents can be solved by either replacing with electric openers, by the insertion of a special two-part ring into the mesh (which allows the winding mechanism to pass through the mesh) or by simply cutting a hole or cross slits into the mesh.
Doorways
The favourite choice to date has been anodised aluminium chain-link screens. These come in a
wide range of colours and designs which particularly suit conservatories, see our
chain screen options.
Alternatively one or more of
our strip-curtain kits can provide a low cost and effective solution, see Fly Curtains.
Another very tidy and popular model is the horizontal roller screen, see models Genius and Unika.
Depending on the
design of the conservatory, it may also be possible to use a sliding door screen
(see model 'Eazy'), but generally this model is only really suitable if the conservatory doorway is more
like a Patio door ie. with one fixed position glass panel on the existing doorway.
